Description: Keystone Vintage Fire Department with manual Fire Siren mounted to side of building and the inside Alarm Bell rings when you crank open the doors. This is the Larger, 3 door version of the Keystone Fire Department with Peaked Roof and Dome. The Fire Department is in good physical condition. The building is solid and the decorative finish is bright and clean (dust bunnies here and there as found in an attic). This is the version of the Fire Department that has a wooden dowel inside that is turned by a hand crank on the outside of the building. As the crank is turned, the bell rings and the three garage doors open. The operation of the Fire Department was tested: The inside siren bell did ring and the three garage doors opened, reverse wind the crank and lower the doors with your finger from the outside. The building also has three spring launchers (photo 5) for the toy fire department vehicles (not present). The launchers were finger tested and all worked. The fire siren (bolted to side of the building) spins and creeks when the mechanical actuating arm (with the knob on the end) is depressed. Doesn't sound like a fire siren to me but at least it spins and makes noises (probably another dust bunny problem). Sold as is as shown. What a fun toy. Will be boxed and shipped with insurance.
