Description: Hello and thank you for viewing our listing We are pleased to offer This fine example of authentic gorgeous vintage handmade Anatolian Turkish “OYA” floral needle lace edging. The dark red and white trumpet flower design with green vines adds a touch of elegance to any fabric. Handmade in Turkey in the 1960s-1980s, this piece is a perfect example of modern Turkish artistry. The edging measures 24 inches and is ready to be added to your collection. It was made by hand sometime between the 1960s and 1980s by a matriarch of a family of needlework Masters whose name was told to me by a relative at the estate sale but I cannot recall it. This specimen is a beautiful example of this intricate artwork and would be a star addition to any collection. it is fully functional and supple. There is no brittle or dry rot to this so it can be utilized and onto whatever you would like. We have a total of 10 strands of this in three different orale, designs, and many different colors. Please see photos . * Please note the last two photographs that show multiple strands on clothing hangers are not included in this sale, but are shown as an example of what else is available should I list them. This listing is for only one strand, which is the dark red and white trumpet flower w green leaf vine strand shown in the majority of the photos.
