It’s a high-end high speed steel boxed (and numbered – #285) eight (8) piece set of British made turning tools. The set is branded and sold by the Woodcraft Company. This beautiful set includes a ¼” gouge, ½” gouge, ¾” gouge, ½” skew, ½” flat nose, ½” round nose, ½” spear point and the parting tool. The handles are nicely crafted and look terrific. And to be perfectly honest, I don’t think these tools have ever been used – they are as sharp and shiny as can be with no evidence of turning on them.
